Hi Guys,

I just bought a Razer Imperator to replace a Logitech G9 which I could not stand. I had a Razer Diamondback before the G9 which I was satisfied with that broke.

After installing the Imperator drivers, my mouse would go haywire. Whenever I left clicked on a link in a browser, the save link menu would pop up. The right click would start highlighting things. And to top it off, my Microsoft/Razer Reclusa keyboard stopped working other than the function keys. I tried installing, reinstalling, removing the Imperator drivers but the problem comes back either right away or after 10 mins.

Besides returning the mouse and trying another, could anyone recommend a solution? I like the mouse and want to stick with it.

Thanks,

DD

More often than not I run my Razer mice without their special drivers. Both XP and Win 7 have always found and used the mice with no issues. The only time I ever bothered was when I wanted different X/Y acceleration and speed. And I stopped doing that a long time ago.
If you have issues with both the official Razer drivers and the generic Windows ones, I am pretty sure you have a bad mouse.
Send it back.
