Good Afternoon,

I am trying to update my profile with a new email address and location information as I have moved. When I go to make changes it tells me I have special characters in my nickname and will not save. How do I fix this? I need to update to my new email, new location, etc.

 
Probably because your username has characters (curly brackets) that are no longer allowed by FuseTalk, thanks to any update since 1999. That's my guess.

Moderators could probably sort it out by changing your name temporarily, allowing you to update email and location, and then change it back afterward. PM the AnandTech Moderator.
