Problem with pop-up ads

Hi there,
Lately I have been having a problem with pop-ups showing up on my computer. I am connected to a T3 line so I am always online.... because of this I will get them even when I am not "on the internet". Like when I'm sleeping...I will wake up to fine about 30 of them on my computer. I tried deleting all my cookies and that didnt work. Any other ideas?

Anyway, you are getting regular pop-up ads like when you visit a website correct? Not the internet messages that show up, or both?

I use SuperTrick to keep the website pop-ups from showing. You can find info about it by doing search on google. etc.

it also sounds like you have some other problims go toHere and DL Adaware 6 and run it

then go here and Dl Spybot. they will delete any spyware and or addware thats on yoru comp

Run ad-aware 6 first, clear any spywear on your computer then get a good pop-up stopper.. I use popup stopper companion, it works great

I tried Popup Stopper, but sometimes it seems like it works TOO good. I know you can hold down shift or ctrl (forgot which one), and click a link and a window will popup like normal, but that seems like too much of a hassle. Are there any "smarter" popup blockers?
