Problem with pioneer 106s

Hi,
I have a problem with my pioneer, when i put any sort of media in, DVD,CD,CD-R, it makes these strange sort of baby bird cheeping sounds then 90% of the time spits the cd back out, and its definetly not a problem with the cd`s, has any one heard of any problems like this or experianced anything similar ?
