Have a problem with overclocking my Banias Pentium M 1.6 Ghz processor. I have only got it to 128(FSB) x 16(Multiplier) = 2048 Mhz. I would think that I could reach arround 175x16 = 2800.

My setup is:

Banias Pentium M 1.6 Ghz
Asus P5GLP-X Motherboard
CT-479 Adapter
2x512MB Kingston Dual DDR-SDRAM

I have set Voltage to 1.55V and the rest of the options is "auto".

What would you think I can get it to run? Is there anything I have forgotten or could do better?

What speed is the motherboard running your mem at? Thats the only thing I can think of to check, it could just be your CPU's limit, since banias doesn't scale as well as Dothan. My 1.6 Dothan is running at 2.4ghz on stock voltage, my motherboard runs in to issues around 160mhz FSB.

Thanks for your quick reply.

FSB:DRAM => 1:1 => 128:128

Cant make it post over 128 FSB! Is your model a 533 or a 400?

It's a 400mhz FSB version. Might just be your CPU limit, or could be the motherboard as well.
