problem with passwords

I have been having a hell of a time with passwords I have to deal with Internet Explorer and MSN. I have accounts set up on the Internet and MSN messenger. Every time I try to log in it says that I have entered an incorrect password or username. I've reset my password about five times with MSN messenger, and it still won't let me in. I've created new profiles, and it still said that I entered an incorrect password or username. When I'm on web sites and try to log in, it says that I entered an incorrect password or username. I recently did a repair install of Windows, and after that I have been getting these problems. when I go into Mozilla, the username and password work just fine.I would appreciate some help.
