Problem with OS, HDD & GoBack

While in XP Pro, I installed Roxio GoBack 3+ in the C: drive. The hard drive is ATA133 160GB, partition C: was 15GB, motherboard is ASUS P4C800-E and the drive was attached to the board's ATA133 channel, not in the Pri Drive.

Everuthing was fine until I've download and installed a driver for an old scanner (HP ScanJet 6300C). That went fine too, but when I restarted my PC next time, it gave me an error at login that windows had to recover a file from the registry. I did not know what to do so I continued.

Since then, I could not bootup my system anymore. The GoBack comes in the way. At one point I got rid of all 3 partitions and repartitioned and reformatted. Took an attempt to install XP in the NTFS file system. After copying the setup files, while restarting, I see the GoBack again. I can't find any files anywhare related to GoBack nor can I disable it.

How can I format the drive parmanently, how can I get rid of any hidden files so it gets rid of it for good? Please advice me for anything, what tools I can use!

Reformatting and reattempt to install Windows 2000 gives the same trouble.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
