Problem with Orinoco USB

Sorry...Hit wrong key!

Installed Winter 2001 drivers and plugged in card works fine.
Reboot machine and USB lights up for 10 sec. then goes out. No connection.
Unplug and plug USB back, and it works fine.
Leave it alone for half-hour and light goes out. Noconnection.
Unplug and plug back, and it works again.
Running Windows 98.
