problem with NFS: underground

I had the exact same problem you're having Shady. I downgraded to the Omega 3.8 and now no probs 1280x1024x32 8xaa 16xaf

did you do a full install?

I had to do the full install to get it to owrk properly too or else it would freeze at startup for me also.

Yes.... we do. Maybe cat 3.10 ( I hope they'll fix it).....

no problems whatsoever.

so is it just with 9700s or 9800s that this is a problem?

LOVE THIS GAME BTW. i'm at race #88. this damn sprint track is giving me trouble.
everything else is cake.

use the Miata.. aside from it's off the line takeoff.. it's the best car.

That's one thing I found odd, none of the cars you obtain later in the game are better than one of the cars you have to pick from right off the bat. I like driving the RX7 though... I like the sound of it's engine 😀
