Problem with new hardware

Hi guys,

i got a computer that the video card fan was going, so i decided to upgrade to pci-e as well as get a new mobo that supports pci-e.

So i got them today. And i installed them, switched the cpu/ram/hd's over.

However upon booting up, i get to the Windows Xp loading screen and i get a blue screen of death followed by a restart.

I try to enter safe mode, but after loading the drivers for safe mode, it just restarts. Any ideas?

Make sure that your power supply is powerful enough to handle the extra load. Also, some newer cards require that you plug a 6 prong lead into it for more power. Those would be my first guesses.
