Hi

I just got the Mitsubishi 930sb monitor and i was loving it till now.

This morning, when i was typing a paper i notice 5 lines going down on the screen. I thought it was a smug or soemthing so i wiped it down, but it didnt go away. I restarted the computer and they were still there. I changed the size of resolution and still there.

They look like the 2 aperture grille lines that go across normally but these 5 are going down in the middle.

Does anyone have any idea of what it might be. should i RMA my monitor?

Thx

damn

I called up nec/mitsubishi

i told a lady there my problem. She said that the aperture grille lines crossed or something. Then she told me that i should open up word or notepad, something with a white screen and let it sit there for 20-30min.

Then she told me to whack the side of my monitor hard but not enough enough to break it.

Well guess what. It worked, i cant believe that whacking it worked.

is that funny or what

The "whacking" is a strange but common recommendation for the Diamondtron monitors. I still don't trust it. As for the 930sb, I just got one too, and loved it, but had to send it back because it made a high pitched whine..drove me nuts.
