Hello all. I have a networking Problem that I need help on.
I recently purchased a dlink di-704p. I had no trouble hooking them both up to the net. They can browse the internet, use ftp, aim etc. The print server is also working great (nice addition).
Well the problem is that I can?t get the two computers to see each other. One is a XP and the other is win98se. The XP box can see that the other is there but it won?t connect. Zone alarm says that my machine is trying but it won?t connect. The win98 machine won?t even find the xp one. I have tcp/ip on both and pretty sure everything I need.
So I?m missing something in the 704p?s firewall and I don?t know what setting it is. If anyone has any idea I would appreciate it.
