Problem with my Lexmark Laser Printer

Hi guys,

I just picked up a Lexmark Optra SC 1275.

Im having alittle trouble with it. I thought the hardpart would be networking it to my network.. but after a few hrs that was over. Im not familar with lazer printers at all

but when i print something...

the right hand side of the paper is cut off in a faded manner ... so something to do with the printer setting.. It seems like hardware to me... not sure though

And on the edge where its missing.. There is a consistant dark/black streeches on the side. They have a small ripple pattern u can notice as u look closer.

I tried to clean the inside but i think theres a piece im not gettin or something. I dunno what it is...

any ideas?

Did you purchase this New or Used?

Looks to me that there is something suck on the transfer roller or drum (perhaps a LABEL).

If it is attached to the drum, good luck.
 
hey,

i got it used ... i guess think of it as a toy or something but i think it might of been smarter to get a new one. but nonetheless.. i got it.. so i gotta deal with it hahah

i messed with something and im not sure what
but now everything is printing out crazy... its all dark colors.. sorta like all the colors mixed in one... like poo. on the entire page! crazy

any ideas what i did
