Problem with Mac / Windows email attachments

Hi,
Im having some issues on my network at work. We use Exchange server to handle our email. Ive been experiencing the following issue:

If I try to send a file from my Mac (osx) using Eudora with attachments (usually binaries) when they get to the exchange server (if I log into my exchange webmail) it says the message has an attachment, but when I open the message (ie I emailed it to myself) it doesnt list it, but the email size accounts for the attachment. When the email is sent to a user on a windows platform they also cannot see the attachment.

I have the client set to MIME (appledouble) file type for attachments.

Is this a configuration / bug on the exchange server? other users have also experienced this issue.

This issue does not exist for sending from a PC to a Mac or to another PC.

Any thoughts/ideas/fixes?

Thanks

yea ... it definitely seems like a problem with the exchange server ...

Is this a known issue / bug?

Is there a fix / workaround?

Thanks

Are you able to try a different encoding method? Have you tried using Apple's "Mail" or MS Entourage just to see if they work with the server?

Sounds like Entourage is being used (that wording isn't in Mail IIRC). Maybe try MIME/Base64 instead with binary files. It may work.
