problem with logitech mx1000

blackinches just bought the mx1000 and is having a strange problem. the back and forward buttons will not work in firefox 1.0, but it works in all other applications. has anybody else encountered the problem. blackinches will greatly appreciate any help.

There was a thread about how MX1000 sucked. Search for it.

Try remapping the back and forward buttons as ALT+L and ALT+R (the keyboard shortcuts for back and forward).

blackinches thinks that this new mouse is actually quite good. it is responsive and comfortable, and works great in games. other than this problem with firefox it works great.
