problem with LAN

hi, I have two windows 98 machines in home. Want to share the internet connection through one machine. These two machines just can see each other.

I use cable modem to connect the server to the internet. I already have one machine's internet setting correctly. There is another NIC on this machine and connected to another machine. The ip address for this NIC is set to 192.168.0.1 and netmask as 255.255.255.0. The ip address for the other machine is 192.168.0.2 and the same netmask. I set the wingate to 192.168.0.1 on this client machine. The group name for the server is @home.

I switched the internet connection with the two NIC on the server and they both can work(going out). And I connected the cable directly to the client and after correctly setting it, it can also connect to the internet. This shows that all my NICs and cables are good. I think the only problem I have is the network setting.

One thing I don't sure is what group name should I give to this client machine? Should it be the same with the server group (@home)? This is the group name specified by ISP.

What else should I be care of?

Thank you.
