Hey I just bought a stick of 128 meg Kingmax pc-150. I have an abit ka7-100 motherboard. The thing is that when I put the kingmax stick in no matter what way in the bios i set it for, timing(fast, turbo, medium, normal), cas2 or cas3, it wont boot. Ive tried lowering the speed(fsb+pci), uping the speed(fsb+pci) but cant get anything to work out. Even tried giving the board more juice, not that it would help much. What I guess I am looking for is some info on whether or not this ram conflicts with via chipsets or not. I have the kx133 chipset. Could it be the hardrive? It will boot past the bios, say its verifying pool data, then load windows and hangs there. I put my kingston ram back in at the best timing(turbo), at cas2,and overclocked to 143 and it works just fine.
