Everything seems to be working fine, computer POST fine no errors, soon as it goes to boot off the HD it goes to a black screen and just sits there.

Antec Sonota
K8N Neo4
512 megs of OCZ Ram
X700 Video Card

Anyone know what the problem could be?

Well it just booted into the windows xp load screen literally 10-15 minutes later.

So I left it sitting for about 10-15 minutes and it finally loaded windows onto the disk, then it restared and went back to hanging.

After another 10 minute wait it booted into Windows fully, so I restarted the computer and it hangs again, there is no way I'm waiting 10-15 minutes for a bootup

Good. Im glad you got it working. Though it is odd that you would have to install the drivers to fix that problem because I went a week with my computer running fine before I realized I forgot to install the motheboard drivers.

Yeah I have at times never instaleld those type of drivers, but this time around seems it was necessary.

Well it started doing it again after last nights shut down and trying to start it up this morning
Maybe it's a PS issue?

I have the same issue with the ATI x600 AIW as well as an Antec 430 Truepower PSU, and I'm going NUTS.

I've tried loading, unloading, and reloading drivers for three days now, and I can't get this thing to stop hanging. On top of that, I have an issue where the machine won't shut down. It hangs there too. I was running Nvidia RAID 0 with two 120 GB Seagate drives, but after I broke the mirror, the thing finally shuts down.

What do you think? Is it ATI or Nvidia?

AMD 64 3500+

ATI x600 AIW
One seriously bummed out guy.
