I`m using a Microsoft Intellimouse Optical (not sure wether its the 1500dpi or the 6000dpi one, if you know a way to identify without the box, then tell me)
In WinXP, using intellipoint gave you an option that said "enable mouse pointer presision" or something along those lines.
when this was enabled then the mouse accuracy increased greatly, now in Win2K, the option doesnt exist. why?
I`m still using intellipoint, same version as well (the latest).
This option seemed to fix the problem in WinXP, but doesnt appear in Win2K.
Are there any other ways to increase the accuracy?
When i use the PS/2 connector, mouse propeties in device manager only allowed me to go up to 100ms refresh, even using tools like Tweak UI & X-Setup, it will not increase to anything above 100ms.
When i use the USB connector, the above options dissapear and the same, main problem, persists
The effect that i`m getting is that when i move the mouse, it seems as if theres an invisible grid, and the mouse pointer wont move to any other points apart from the grid points.
On one of the other posts, it said that if you gave MS your serial number, then they`ll send you a replacement, if they do, will it be the 1500dpi or the 6000dpi one?
i would have thought the 6000dpi one as i was under the impression that the 1500dpi one had be phased out of production.
Thanx In Advance
