Problem with IE6

Ok here is my problem (yes one of the few times I have no idea how to fix it). Whenever I try to save a pic from IE6 (right click save as...) it always defaults to untitled.bmp. It just started doing this and will not save the pic as anything but a bmp. What is the problem?
 
in the save as field is the drop down bar selected as .bmp or save as all file types? Might try changing to all file types if it isn't already.

It doesnt give me any other options.
 
I have the same thing happening intermittently. I decided it has more to do with the way the image is posted rather than a problem on my end. (Of course, this could just be another sign of how deeply in denial I am...
