Problem with HP PSC 950 All in One Printer....machine crumples paper after printing

I think the machine is supposed to spit the paper out a litle farther after its done printing.....because after it is done it just drops it right there and then when it pulls in the next piece it crumples the bottom of the page and sometimes starts printing on it!

bought it on ebay for 150 brand new (the only problem i ever had was this)

any ideas of what I can do?

Traditionally, HP's have the best luck w/ paper issues since the paper lies flat instead of sticking up in the back.
The only suggestion i have is to make sure the little plastic guides on the top and sides of the paper are accurate. this could be why it's not spitting it out all the way, the paper may be too far up so when it does grab it, it only gets the tip and it comes up short. that's all i can think of. The 950 is a very nice machine, i've been using the 750 ,which is the same thing but w/out the fax/media port deals, for at least the past 2 years and it's been flawless.
