Problem with Google Maps

All of a sudden I can't print a map full page size. They print the actual onscreen size, slightly larger than 1/4 page. Changing printer settings does nothing, but I've never had to change settins before anyway to get the maps to print across the page. This has never occurred in years of printing Google maps and I'm stumped. Would somebody try printing a map and see if this is working OK at your location? And if anyone has seen this before and knows how to fix it then please let me know. Thanks.

Copy the map to clipboard. Then paste it into a decent word processor page and make it any size you want. You can also paste into an app like Irfanview and full page it the same way.

Thanks for the suggestion Corky but I'll just use Mapquest instead. Printing full page automatically has never been as issue in Goggle before and isn't with other map services.

If anybody else bumps into this problem, I got a response back from Google and tje responder acknowledged that Google Maps is having a variety of printing problems that they're working on. The problem I described and others are solved by going to Tools, Compability View, and making Google maps a "compatable view"...voila, maps print full page again.

So it's actually an IE problem. Have you tried other browsers to see if it persists there too?

Just checked and the problem does NOT show up in Chrome or FF. I recently downloaded IE9 so maybe that was where the problem cropped up....IE8 worked fine before.
