Problem with Gmail- Firefox & Explorer

For some reason i can't get gmail to show up after i login with explorer or firefox. The only way i can get it to go is to clear the cache in the browser. I think some anti-spyware app i had installed might have made some changes to my browsers so i unistalled it and had it revert back to original settings but i still have the same problem. Any clues as to what might be doing this?
