Problem with game/sound

I recently installed a Geforce xfx 5200 video card, the video works fine. Sound works fine when im not playing a certain computer game (wolfenstein:enemy territory). when i open this game, there's sound, then randomly the sound cuts off. this can last for up to about 15-20 minutes, then it randomly comes on again.


any help, suggestions?

When the sound glitch occurs, go to the 'Console' (hit the ~ key) and type: /s_stop

This will reset the sound.
