Problem with Forums using FireFox

Whenever I try to open a forums categories main page, for example off topic:
http://forums.anandtech.com/categories.cfm?catid=38

Using the link formatted that way, FireFox prompts me to download categories.cfm

Using this link:
http://forums.anandtech.com/categories.cfm?catid=42&flcache=3745216&entercat=y

Results in a successful attempt to load the Forum Issues forum.

Anyone know what the deal is?

I've had problems similar to that with eBay and Opera, but not here with AT. Although, today I haven't been able to connect to the forums AT ALL with Opera, so I'm using IE right now.

try clearing all your cookies and cache. worked for me.

dang, it wont work for me using IE or firefox, even after clearing cookies and cache, i cant stay logged in without it killing the forums. wtf is going on?
