Problem with Firefox 1.5

I've been using Firefox 1.5 for a while now and have run into an annoying problem. The tabs in Firefox occasionally start to act as if the window is actually wider than it is, hiding the "close tab" button. If I make the window wider, the button will eventually display. If I re-shrink the window back to its original size, the button gets hidden again. Also, whenever this happens, I will have extra blank space between the window's title and menu bar. See the attached pic for clarification: Pic.

Does anyone have any idea what is causing this and how I can prevent it? My Windows XP Pro install is less than 2 months old and I am using 81.95 drivers for my GeForce 4600.

Did you try a fresh FF install, into empty directory, with new profile and no (yet) extensions and addons?
