Problem with external keyboard

My chromebook keyboard was malfunctioning so bought a wireless USB external keyboard. It worked for a day until I pressed altgr and some other key in the lower left corner of the keyboard. Suddenly it doesnt do much anymore. Ideas on how to fix this?

Have you tried changing the KB battery?

I rebooted it, seems to have sold the problem. I checked in at the tech shop I bought it at before; they wouldn't help unless I paid em for this complicated deal. Figures.
