Hi, I was having trouble booting up my computer. I have an Epox 9npa+ Ultra mobo and everytime I try to boot it up, I notice an error on the LED(that is on the motherboard itself) saying "6D". When it first turns on, it gives me a picture with the EPOX logo and mobo name but then it doesn't boot any further. Anyways, I went on Epox's site and found out what the error means through the manual -
"
1. Assign resources to all ISA PnP devices.
2. Auto assign ports to onboard COM ports if the corresponding item in Setup is set to "AUTO".
"
The last thing that I have done is replace the powersupply with a Enermax Liberty 500 Watt and the other thing I have done is replace my GPU's cooling with an Arctic Cooling Accelero X1 HSF. I have done absolutely nothing else. My computer specs: Epox 9npa+ Ultra, Opteron 144 Socket 939, Enermax Liberty 500Watt PSU(brand new), eVGA 6800GS GPU(about 4.5 months old), Corsair 1GB valueram PC3200(about 3 months old).

What I did so far:
-Switch back to my old power supply. I got the same error so I concluded that it cannot be the Powersupply.
-Switch to another PCI-E videocard that I had lying around(X300 SE i believe). I got the same error so I concluded that it cannot be the videocard.
-I had 2 working hard-drives so I tried putting them in 1 at a time. Same error so I concluded it cannot be the hard-drives.
-I tried to turn the pc on with just the RAM, videocard, CPU(w/ HSF) and PSU. I got the same error with just the bare minimum connected.
-The only thing that could have a problem are the following: Motherboard and/or RAM. Again, I could be wrong definetely.

Link to the manual if anyone is interested: http://www.epox.com/USA/article.asp?ID=1866

I tried calling Epox but they haven't answered the phone yet- I might have the wrong number; I dunno. The number I got is 714-680-0898. Is that the right number for USA EPOX customer service? Anyways, I thought I should post here to see if anyone can help me before EPOX can.
Does anyone have any clue as to what the error could mean? Right now, I am on my old pentium 3 so I can't do much with this trashcan lol. Could my motherboard have died? The thing is that the computer starts up and I can even reach the first screen with the LOGO and stuff of Epox but it never reaches the black-screen where I can hit Delete to enter BIOS. That means the mobo is still receiving power so the motherboard is not fried for sure. Someone please help me - I am kind of desperate. Very very annoyed. I spent atleast 3 hours trying to figure out what could be wrong. I am running low on options right now. I am going to contact Epox again tomorrow to see if they can help. THANKS GUYS!!!

Edit: I reset the CMOS and I still keep on getting the 6D error. I called Epox and still an answering machine. Did anyone with an Epox motherboard have problems? If so, what number did you call for technical service? I need some answers. I am very frustrated with Epox's technical service. ugh... What you guys think I should do? Very very pissed off

My Epox 9npa+ Ultra has been giving me problems also. Some times windows boots some times it doesn't. Also tested with install CD and that wouldn't load for me any more. I sent a message to Epox waiting to hear back from them.
