I just recently got an enlight 7237 and i modded it to make bigger holes in the bezel, but now i'm having a hard time attaching a filter to the front fan. I bought a filter off of kdcomputers.com

Can anyone help me out with this problem
THx.

yes... i tried attaching the fan witout the square mounting device but it slides because there is no place to directly screw the fan down. Is there somewhere where i can buy a different mounting device?

I cut the metal screen from the front of the case. Then drill 4 holes to mount the fan and filter with. I have done several of these cases this way. Also you can cut a bigger hole and mount a 120mm fan in front.

You could do a couple of things.....

First, the stock fan is a low output fan about 30cfm.
You would be better off modding the case like
Buffaloman57 suggests for better air flow.
I have a 7237 case and put in bigger fans to get
good cooling.
If you don't want to do this at least put in a better
fan, a Sunon high output 80mm, in the front
and rear of the case.
As for the filter you could use duct tape and
carefully tape it over the fan hole, or buy
the cheap foam packages for AC window units
and tape it to the inside of your bezel.

Hope this helps....
