Problem with dvd sound

When I installed the computer (amd 64, Abit mobo with the Guru tech and via chipset, lite-on dvd RW and a few other thingies).

Anyway when I installed windows dvd's played and sounded perfect. A few weeks into the install I downloaded and installed alcohol 120, dvd shrink and dvd decryptor to record old dvd's I had etc... and now I can playback anything but dvd's dont have sound... Everything else in my computer sounds perfectly... including cd's... downloads everything, except dvd's :/ Someone help me pls 🙁
