i have a optiarc 7170a ide dvd burner.
it worked fine in my old box, set it up on my new one
and it refuses to read dual layer media.
regular dvd-r and +r work fine, as well as cds.
in my computer, it shows up as DVD-RAM drive
if i put in a regular dvd or cd, it displays the contents.
if i put in a DL media, it sits for ~10 seconds
then the icon changes to CD-ROM and it will
show blank in explorer.
any ideas?
