So Crossfire doesn't work nearly 98% of the time. The only way for me to get it working is to change the Video Card drivers.
Doesn't matter if I roll back to an old driver 8.11 or any other up to the most recent 9.4. I update the driver, do the requisite restart, and crossfire works. Any consecutive reboot causes crossfire to stop working. I don't even have to uninstall the old driver, just run the .exe of any driver package and xFire works again.
What could this be due to? Is there some file being written into the registry that I could delete each time I startup?
Also, I've followed the detailed instructions on uninstalling drivers (like on TechPowerup), using driver cleaners, etc. with no differnce.
Thanks,
