Problem with connecting .

Ive just both a new pc , the network card is integrated on mi msi k8n neo4-f , It great , but I cant connet to our network , we use the barricade cable / dsl broadband router smc7004vbr .

How do I connect and stuff ? It just doesnt work , I plug the rj 45 in my pc and nothing , cant connect , could give me a step by step way to connect ? Ive got the install cd for installing some software but it always tells me that the wireless router barriceade cant connect to the ip or somethin like that , and that I should try turning it off for 30 sec and than turing it on , please help .

Oh theres one more really starnge thing in hardware I can see network adapters , but only stull like WAN etc , i cant find a integrated network card there and Ive only got drivers for vga and 3d audio from msi ....

so you don't think the NIC is installed.

Can you see it in Device Manager?
Have you enabled it in BIOS?

Have you installed the nforce4 drivers? Because you're NIC is provided by the nforce4 chipset, you need to install these drivers before you can use your NIC.
