Problem with CDRW

I got a burner in the summer months and it was a great treat to finally get one.
It worked fine, I burnt music CD's and the nine yards
Recently, however, the burner has been giving me write errors everytime I try to burn something.
It happened with both CDRWIN and Nero, so I am sure it's the burners fault, any reason this might be happening?
It just suddenly happened...

Tried for it, a very long mixed up number
The CD didn't even burn this time, burner didn't respond after it was 3% done....
