Problem with burned CD...

This is what happened... I recently made some backups of my "downloads" folder to some CD's. Yesterday I gave those CD's to a friend so that he could use some of the stuff there and he says that every .exe file give an error of "Invalid Win32 application". There are also some .txt files there and the contents are empty. When I run the CD in my PC everything runs fine....

It wasn't CD-RW's. They are normal CD's. I am using Easy CD Creator 4.05

I found some "pattern" to the error. In every PC that has Win98 (tried 3 different PC's) it gives the same error. In a OS that has the NT kernel (NT(work)/2000(home)/XP(home)) it gives no errors.

I am at a loss here....

Any ideas of what might be?
Thanks!

Did you close the CD's session?

If you don't close the session I think only RW drives can read the CDs.
