Ive had this PS for 2 months now. Ive also noticed its not on the amd's list of recommended PSU. WELl ITs a REal PC pwer PS. But its caused some unstable problems with my nf7-s2.0 mobo, 2 x 256 mb ddr ocz dual channel pc3200 ram, amd xp2500+, etc...
The problem I face is that everytime I shut down the computer, the keyboard malfunctions and its lights are on. If I restart the computer then the keyboard will not work properly, so I have to unplug the keyboard for it to work. This is very annoying. Another thing I have noticed is that when I leave the computer off for a while, and turn it on from the power supply, it will not start up immediately. I have to keep rebooting again and again for it to work. Also, at times the computer just shuts down form windows itself as if theres an inadequate power being supplied. I have tested other power supplies and did not face any such problems. I did some research and noticed others also had similar problems with their PS. Now, on the PS I bought from you, it shows that it is compatible with all amd xp processors, but I think it is misleading. I think all of these real PC pwer supplies might have some defect from the manufacturer itself.
I dont know the exact soplution to this other than replacing the PS and getting a new one of a better brand. I notcied that a regular 300 watt PS ran fine on my comp but this one is causing problems and unstability.
Coul it be due to dual channel ram??? maybe theres a way i can solve this by changing some settings?
thankyou
