Not sure if this is the right forum, but here goes. I have a HItachi 57" HDTV Projection TV hooked up to a DISH HD receiver via HDMI. Whenever I turn them on, I notice on the big screen it says DVI instead of HDMI for the input. So I get video but no sound.
It didn't used to do this, and if I completely reboot the DISH receiver it is fine, until I turn the receiver off and back on again. This would lead me to believe the receiver is messing up, but DISH denies that and says its the TV. Any ideas which piece of equipment is malfunctioning?
