problem with befsr41

I have DSL SBC. I didn't really start noticing this problem till about a month ago. My connection keeps timing out or lossing a massive packet loss. i lose connection from the net for about 1 min then it's back again. i am thinking its the router nothing else i can think of SBC ran a line test and they said everything looks fine. anyone know a firmware for V.2 of this router i don't see it on linksys website.
