That's what it says - the compressed file is on the D:, and when I run it, it goes about decompressing the files, and when it gets to the screen that says "Please wait while the Wise Installation Wizard prepares the Windows installer," a window pops up: Error 1327: Invalid Drive z:\. It is quite invalid, becuase there IS no drive Z on the computer. It never asks me anything up to this point; clicking OK on the window (the only option there) just closes the installer.

I found a workaround - use something like Winzip or WinRAR to decompress the demo out of the EXE file. The installer is dazed and confused I guess.

Update 5/28: This is not over yet! Another program has a problem with a nonexistant Z: - the Norton Systemworks 2002 Uninstallation program. It also says Error 1327. Invalid Drive: z:\
There is nothing installed on the nonexistant Z:!!! (duh) What gives here??

Heck with this, I'm going through the registry and removing/changing any instances of Z: that I can find.

the orginal may have been done on a drive Z by whomever made it and was set to extract to there.

anyways enjoy the demo. They are pretty cool. The music one especially looks awesome on my R9700 and sounds awesome on my audio 2 plat with 5.1 surround speakers. They are all pretty cool actually. Decent displays of lighting and texturing.

btw if you have the music one, let it play one time on its own, then play it again and freely move around the 3D space. Its pretty cool. nothing really new or anything, just well done mesh of rendered 3D video and audio.

Yeah, I played them. I was mildly disappointed that the music thing just plays an MP3 file - there is no correlation between the action of the balls and the sound being played; you can replace the soundfile easily, and the balls will all still follow their scripted motions.

Ok, got it - after all mention of a Z: was removed from the registry, the problem went away. Strange.
