Hello i have this problem of horizontal lines coming across the screen when i open a game.

I read this post which has the same problem as i do:
http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2239477

Thing is my screen doesen't have a DVI or HDMI entrance, only VGA, i'm using a conversor DVI-VGA right now as i've always used but i didn't have this problem with my old ATI 5670 before.

I heard the problem might be the converting thing, so i found this:

Its a VGA-HDMI cable, no convertions and ofcourse the graphics card has the entrance, i was wondering if geting it will help me with my problem since i don't wanna spend 20 dollars in a cable for nothing.

I've bought a new adapter and a new VGA-VGA cable and slightly got better, but still, it's really annoying.

Actually the signal will be getting converted from HDMI->VGA.Your case may be completely different from the link you posted. What is the model of your 7850? is it overclocked?

It's a XFX R7850 Double Dissipation. It has DVI and HDMI ports, also 2 little entrances which i don't konw what are them for.

Is this one:

Thanks for answering guys! As i read on the post, mine didn't came with a conversor DVI-VGA btw

Those are mini dvi ports.
You could use a DVI to VGA cable without issue for the most part, but, I don't recall what happens with HDCP (DRM) crap on those though.

I haven't found a DVI-VGA cable.
I'll try to buy another screen with HDMI port though, looks like my old LCD is paying off ^^

If i get a DVI-VGA one and works i'll tell you guys here.

Thanks for the attention

You mean display port? Those are not mini DVI.
