Problem with AGP speed

I have a Radeon 9550 which supports 8x AGP (The exact same product spec is here - I have the exact card). My motherboard, an Elitegroup (ECS) L4S8A2 also supports 8x AGP (Product specs here). However, there's a disparity between the reading I have from my ATI display utilities and the program CPU-Z at what the speed of my AGP is. The ATI tools displays my card running at 8x speed, but CPU-Z shows it as 2x.

ATI display tools: Text
CPU-Z: Text

Does anyone have an idea as to whats wrong? I have the latest BIOS for my mobo and latest ATI drivers. Should I try another CPU/mobo querying program?

CPU-Z also says AGP version 3.0 which is 8X.

It's some kind of bug.

In any event, you would lose next to nothing by running at AGP 2X anyway.
