I just built a new computer with an Abit NF7, but it won't power on. The red LED light at the botom of the board is very dimmly lit, not vivid and bright like its supposed to be. I checked all of the connections and am sure everything is plugged in correctly. Any idea of the problem?

You can verify whether it's the LED or the board by plugging another LED on the connector. Any other LED from your case will do. If the other LED shows correctly, the one that's dim, or the wires, or the connector, itself, is bad. If the other LED shows the same problem, it's a small hassle, but if it's brand new, I'd exchange it.

Make sure the Clear CMOS jumper is in the proper position. I believe it is supposed to be on pins 1 and 2 for normal operation and pins 2 and 3 to clear the CMOS. If the jumper is on pins 2 and 3 you will have the situation you are describing.

Or if it is only on pin 1 hehe.. oops ;)

Also, make sure all of the components are properly seated (memory, video card, etc.).
