Yeah this if off topic, but its about a VIDEO game and about its about a movie, so I posted it on this board, don' kill me. Peter Jackson is the exec producer for the halo movie

But yeah this is great news, I love the story in Halo, the music, the ai, everything. I hope Peter Jackson can really bring this to life. Also he is lending WETA studios for the special affects. I have high hopes for this one. Hopefully it doesn't suck like all video game to movie translations.

Now on to the main show. My 6800gt, keeps crashing. I added artic silver 5 to the core, and added artic ceramique to the ram. But after that the damn card seems to crash regularly when playing the demo for age of empires 3 at practically any resolution. And by crash I mean, the card shuts off, and my monitor goes blank cause its recieveing no signal. But the rest of my PC is on. But in other games it works great. I tested all the parts on my pc with brand new ones ( i bought them from best buy, only to return them the next day). Only thing i havn't tested is my main board. I tried overclocking it a while back, adn have been having problems with my pc ever since. I have had to replace my hard drive twice and now my video card is acting up. Does my problem sound like a my nforce 2 board is causing my components to crash or just that my video card was damaged while i tried modding it. Also my pc is completely on stock right now.

THanks

If its just AOE3 then its probably a game bug, as 1. Its a demo, 2. You don't want to know how many people had problems with that game.
I mean think about it, if every single game works fine but one, then its pretty much obvious that its the game's fault and not the hardware's.
