Problem with 6800GT

I just got a 6800Gt and my games keep on crashin with it. I tried the new 66.93 drivers and the 61.77. City of Heroes and Call of Duty keeps on crashing after a few minutes into the game. Both games are updated with patches and worked perfectly with my old ATI 9600XT. Both my videocard and CPU are currently NOT overclocked. Fast write is already disabled.

1.) make sure the power cable going to the gt is not hooked to anything else in your system
2.) make sure the card is snugly and properly in the slot
3.) if its not too much hassle, try a re-format, reinstall of windows and mobo drivers than vid drivers
4.) if it still craps out, try it in another computer
5.) rma

Reinstalling Windows seemed to have cured the problem. Thanks!

Update: The problems are back! 🙁 I dont know what I did, but my 3D games are crashing again.

Thanks for the link. I installed the 61.76 drivers that came with the PNY Installation CD and so far the problems are gone.
