Problem w/Win2k installation on Side-Raid 100 RAID0 array

I have two 60GB HDs configured as RAID0 using the IWILL PCI SIDE RAID-100 IDE controller (HPT-370 Chipset). I have a third 60GB HD on the primary controller on the mobo.

My Problem:

I want to boot from the RAID array (and have successfully done so) but the Win2k OS recognizes the primary partition on the third non-RAID HD as drive C: (Win2k OS drive defaults to D🙂. Usually I can hide partitions using System Commander, but Win2k seems to override it.

The OS seems to read the master boot record on the primary onboard controller before it goes to the array on the IWILL controller. The onboard HD is recognized as Drive 0, the array as Drive 1.

Anyone ever have this experience? I suppose I can just install the OS on the single hd attached to the onboard mobo controller but I prefer to boot from the RAID array for obvious reasons.

Thanks in advance for any advice.
