Here's the problem. When I try to start up 3dfxTV, I get the error message:
3dfx TV was unable to run. This may be because other programs are using the resource it needs, or the wrong Voodoo3 drivers are installed.
Please quit all other programs and try running 3dfx TV again.
If it still does not run, please go to the 3dfx website and download the Web Patch for 3500TV. This will update your software to the most current software available.
I'm running no other programs than Explorer and system tray, and the installed driver under device manager is "3dfx Voodoo3 3500TV". The driver version is 4.12.01.1222 released on 1/19/2000. I have installed the most recent version of Visual Reality (1.04.02) and have also installed 3dfx tools (1.5.6.66).
I'm running this on:
Abit BX6-2
Abit HotRod66 controller card
Celeron 700
Win98SE
128MB SDRAM
Aureal Xitel 8830
Oh, and another thing........the WebTV doesn't work either.....it just sits there once it's loaded, nothing shows up on the screen. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
