Problem viewing you tube links.

I get this error when I try and view any you tube link.

Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Get the latest flash player.

Clicked the link to make sure I have the latest flash but I already do. SO I tried to go into Security options for IE and it won't let me add you tube as a trusted site because it's http instead of https.
This is a new install of XP and it never did this on the old install.

Any ideas on how to fix it?

Well, I fixed it. Went to adobe's site and found an uninstaller. Then reinstalled and it works fine now.
