Problem Solved -PLEASE SOMEONE HELP: CAN'T ACCESS ROUTER/MODEM WEBSITE 192.168.0.1

Yesterday, I changed my router settings from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.2. Now I can't access my router page can someone help me? I tried everything

How can I do that

The procedure is slightly different depending on the specific router brand and model, but holding the reset button for about 30 seconds will usually do it.

Yep, I realize, but when I try to type 192.168.0.2 in the Browser, nothing appears

192.168.0.2 took too long to respond.

Try:

• Checking the connection
• Checking the proxy and the firewall
• Running Windows Network Diagnostics

Okay, wasn't sure based on the thread title, is all.

If you can't find documentation specific to your router, try the 30/30/30 reset.

Most routers will end up reset by that procedure. Grab a stopwatch. Aim for 33 seconds or so.

Yeah. The newer forum software has a WYSIWYG editor that keeps the style of whatever you copy-paste. JackMDS is probably still used to our older forum software that would have stripped all the formatting (by default, anyway).

Wondering why it became inaccessible after that change...

Maybe the DHCP server did not adjust appropriately and it tried to assign 192.168.0.2 to one of the clients. That would cause a conflict. Was there a reason to change it?

I have .1 as my main router, .2 and .3 are configured manually (static) on 2 secondary routers that are both configured in access point mode, and .10 is the starting address for dynamic IPs given out by DHCP (from the main router).
