problem saving pics in WinXP

this is weird -- when I right-click a picture to save it, I can only save it as bitmap, even if the picture is jpg or gif. What's going on?

Set your cache to be bigger, after it gets full, XP will automatically save everything as a bitmap. As you probably figured from reading the article, just clear your temp internet files, but for a more long term solution, do as I advised above.
