AMD TBird 850 overclocked to 1GHZ (7.5x133)
MSI K7T Turbo
128 PC 150 Kingmax
Antec 300 watt power supply

Lately I noticed if my computer locked up in either windows 2000 or 98 second edition, and I press the reset switch. My computer does not restart. It blanks out, no display nothing. I have to pull the power plug out wait a few minutes then start it back up. Any one here experiencing the same problem? Any ideas whats wrong. Thanks

Ok, I'm no expert but I believe there is a problem with setting the bus ta 133 with a 100 MHZ Processor. Read an article and darned if I can remember where, may be Anantech, that says the chip will try ta boot at the default before it gets to the bios. This means your chip will try ta do 8.5 X 133 before it gets to the Bios where ya got it set for 7.5 X 133. If it is to high for the chip, in this case it would be 1130.5 it will not boot. Apparently it ya pull the plug mid boot and then plug it back in the thing will boot ta your bios setting. This is apparently a problem with boards with a combination jumper/bios bus settings. Hopefully a Bios fix from MSI will rectify this but it is reportedly doubtful. Perhaps you'd be better of with 10X100 or less if the chip is unstable and locking up. Hope this is clear as mud cause I may have not really read the article correctlly but I think I am close ta what it was tryin ta say.
